Scottie Globemaster (kit option 3)

Details:

• This kit is supplied as a PCB populated with all SMD components, including the Oscillator chip for operation up to the 4 Metre band. Additional components must be fitted by the builder to complete the unit. These parts are listed below.
• The populated PCB, as supplied, is tested for basic functionality prior to delivery.
• The kit, once fully assembled, has a Tx power output up to 38 Watts PEP on the HF Bands. (refer to wiki page https://groups.io/g/globemaster/wiki/Spectrum-Measurements for typical performance measured)
• PCB micro processor firmware is pre loaded.
• To achieve operation on the HF bands 160, 80, 60, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12, 10, 6 and 4 metres, the builder must:
  1. Purchase, manufacture and fit the Band Pass Filter toroid inductors (30 off toroids, winding details provided).
  2. Purchase, manufacture and fit the Wideband Transformers (5 off, winding details provided )
  3. Purchase and fit the remainder of the Filter Bank Relays (12 off)
• A bill of materials (BOM) list is provided together with comprehensive build construction details
• The aluminium thermal spacer is supplied with this kit
• The PCB is UHF capable, this section is unpopulated. The builder must procure and fit all components for this section if UHF operation is required. (please contact us for details, https://www.scottie-sdr.co.uk/index.php?main_page=contact_us )
